The example I mentioned Reborn has implemented animations for most attacks up to gen 7, except Earthquake for some reason and the beta animation sheet I looked at was garbage.
Not shilling for Essentials. The point you're making is correct. There is no excuse for an Essential package with complete gen 3 animations not existing. Your example was just completely uninformed on how coding and porting works.
