>>41985174No, they really weren't. Just because the stuff that comes after is worse than it doesn't magically mean that B/W are good. They're still filled with too many dialogue dumps, the gym leaders are piss easy and the game never lets you struggle. Plus it has the first legendary you HAVE to catch. Yuck, gross, awful.
The only thing I'll give it is that locking you to the new regions pokedex was actually really cool.
