>>46924785The thread itself went to shit from the first post, but the topic is interesting, so here's the actual and objective list of Most Useful/Helpful pokemon.
>Most Useful Pokemon OverallDitto
Self explanatory. Even if you were to gimp it by, say, making it so it's only half as powerful as any pokemon it imitates, and being only 10% as powerful as Legendaries/Mythicals, it's still a no-brainer. Even in menial situations like needing a Chair or a Bucket, or other obvious ones like turning it into a hot chick for an intense lovemaking session.
>Most Useful/Helpful LegendaryThis one's pretty tough. Instead of going for Raw Power and Ability, it is preferable to strike both a balance of exceptional Ability and somewhat controllable demeanor, maybe even goodwill. I guess Xerneas fits the bill here since it's able to give life to anything and it does it with glee. Not sure if it can bring back the dead, but it can make any inhospitable land into a colorful and beautiful landscape. The Gen IV legends would undoubtedly be more useful, but they've also been shown to be short fused assholes.
>Most Useful StarterEven though Protean/Libero are the exact same thing (ergo, one of the most helpful abilities ever), i'm gonna have to give it to Greninja. Full waterbending capabilities, that translate to lots of other elementbending thanks to Protean, along with all the other cool Ninja abilities like teleportation, duplication and all that stuff. Can also travel huge distances quickly and can easily carry someone while doing so, so he also be used for transport. Is appropriately sized, so it fits in any house with no issues. It also has a multipurpose prehensile and extendible tongue which i'm sure would come in handy in lots of ways.
