These updates haven't been kind to Blaziken, who now has a lower score than Delphox and is tied with Chesnaught. Incineroar has also taken a huge hit. Meanwhile, Swampert has gained some huge momentum and is now among the most beloved starters in the list.
As for gen scores they are:
Gen I: 5 Points
Gen II: -2 Points
Gen III: 3 Points
Gen IV: 3 Points
Gen V: -2 Points
Gen VI: 2 Points
Gen VII: 0 Points
As we can see here, all Gens suffered point losses since the first update, with Gens III, V and VI remaining constant, but with no increases to be seen.
Breaking down gen distributions, Gen I was the most balanced in terms of starter love, with no differences larger than 5 points, but this honor has since passed to Gen IV, with its biggest differential being 8 points now, while Gen I's is now 12 points.
Gen II starts strong and tries to earn positive score, but common dislike for Meganium ends up dragging the trio into the negatives. Meanwhile the opposite happens in Gen VI's case, where Chesnaught and Delphox see some flak, but Greninja's unanimous approval is stronger that the disdain for the others, strong enought to earn the gen a positive score despite this.
The Gen ratings are now:
