And I dunno, unlike most other people, I think it's fair for Lillie to give you Nebby. She really isn't a trainer, not because she can't keep a giant space god in a Pokeball, but because she literally doesn't understand how to battle. And for the logic of in-universe, if I were just a plain girl who's never raised a Pokemon before, and I suddenly owned a giant space god, I would rather entrust it with the kid who's knocking out island trials left and right while simultaneously ousting thugs AND straightening out my bitch mother who fucked off to a parallel dimension.
