Sun/Moon were the least amount of time I've put into any Pokemon game by a large margin. I don't really know what it was, but it didn't feel as grand or exciting as previous games.
I think back to when X/Y were releasing and what a blast that was. I just didn't get the same feeling with Sun/Moon and a new edition with minor differences probably isn't going to change that. I hope I'm wrong, or that the next game that comes along will bring that feeling back.
Ultra Sun/Moon are the first Pokemon games I've considered NOT buying, which is a bummer to me.
