>>23354821It's pretty ironic that you think fairy is a nice addition, when it made using Steel types even more common than before.
Before it was because of Dragon resist mostly, while also resisting multiple other stuff. Heatran had it's niche in also being immune to fire and overall great defensive stats, Scizor wasn't really used until it got Bullet Punch in Platinum and Magnezone was and will always be popular because of trapping and killing other steels.
Now they do all the above but are also needed to fuck over fairies.
Maybe Fairy could use a Fire weakness or some other way to make other types get more usage, but I don't really see an end to the Steel dominance. And personally, I'm OK with that.
