>>38856575It's Neptunia, anon, it doesn't exactly have a giant budget. It's a LITTLE unfair to compare it to the latest flagship title in literally the single most successful media franchise in the history of mankind.
All things considered the game that's from, VII, was actually a genuinely decent game. It still heavily reused assets but the gameplay was approaching mechanically interesting, there were fun collectables, the story was entertaining both for its drama and referential humour etc.
It's a shame it took them 4 games to go from trash to decent, and then immediately stopped making main games and just did spin offs. I still enjoy them but god damn I would kill for a proper Neptunia 5 right now.
