Conversely, rather than leveling up 6 pokemon (i.e, the more fun and enjoyable way to play the game) being a challenge you have to force yourself to do, it'd instead be the best way to play the game; the mechanics of the game would push you away from doing something unfun, and towards doing something fun.
SMT can do it.
Ni No Kuni can do it.
Monster Rancher can do it.
World of Final Fantasy can do it.
Yo-Kai Watch can do it.
Why can't Pokemon do it?
