I think the SV designs were poorly received because they came right after SwSh and its sexy characters. People wanted more of that. It's impossible for me to forget when Japanese people cried on Twitter about SV's designs. For that reason there is little hentai of SV characters except for Iono. Nowadays the popular characters are those that generate hentai.
