A slow, mixed attacker that can only boost its lower offense. While Samurott's movepool is pretty vast, it just doesn't have the raw power (from either the lack of high powered moves or another STAB that would come with a dual typing) to be relevant. Plus it can't even fill the roll of a bulky water as Sam's Defenses are mediocre at best and that's kind of Water's whole thing. I blame these shits & Floatzel.
Maybe a mega and something like Shell Smash will fix it though, who knows.
