Gardenia, for his namesake because both his Japanese name and English name mean gardenia. Specifically I’d get him the Hawaiian kind. I don’t know how but I would.
Snowdrop, because they symbolize hope. For as deadpan and dead inside the old man is, he cares.

Guzmania, aka the tufted air plant. He’s named after them and he kinda looks like one. Also, I feel like it would be a subtle way of calling him an airhead, which is funny.
Gladiolus, because they symbolize strength. Him and Golisopod are (the idea of) brute strength personified. Big bad Guzma needs a big bad flower. Also I feel like Golisopod would like them.
