>>31972343>You can make up new moves and abilities, but if it is banworthy, you loseThere's quite a few Mega Flygons here already (of course there is, because Flygon deserves a mega) but I want to do a different take on it than just "make Flygon offensively viable." so hear me out.
Mega Flygon
HP: 80
Attack: 120 (+20)
Defense: 110 (+30)
Sp.Atk: 80
Sp.Def: 110 (+30)
Speed: 120 (+20)
Moves: Fake Out & First Impression learnset, Bullet Punch & Sucker Punch egg move.
I tried to make this pokemon able to capitalize on its utility, with the bulk to switch in to hostile attacks several times through the match to get its effects. Its speed puts it over most but not over all, actually decent attack, and Dragon Dance can help both if you want to run it offensively (the added bulk will help provide time to set up). U-Turn is already in its toolbox, so it can still defog and gtfo, but now can do so more than once or twice and still be used as an attacker if you want.
The ability builds its primary function into it, and since Defog is no longer going to be its first move on the field, it's free to use the first-turn-on-field moves. It has priority better than BP40 now for those using it to try and grab revenge (or in SP's case, taking advantage of a predicted Defog for a free hit if the opponent misreads the set) but its speed boost and DD should make it less relevant for fully offensive builds.
I was also thinking of giving it Steelworker-Bug instead (on top of FIrst Impression), but again I didn't want to just go "Oh look I made Flygon an offensive powerhouse just like every other M.Flygon idea."
