>>31137858If it's possible, the way I would do it is just have their displayed name be the same (Alolan Ninetales is still just "Ninetales") with a different internal designation. Players don't need a different name to be able to tell the difference and they're clearly just variants of existing Pokémon.
If they do need to be renamed I think that's fine but they probably ought to just be variants of the species name, like "Snowslash" instead of "Sandslash".
Looking at your list there, Eskimouse is cute and Snowshard sounds fine but "Pyrobone" is really simplistic and I would have no idea what a "Solstfox" or "Isinfier" is supposed to be out of context.
