If there is a hard cap then I'll just progress and fight trainers until I reach it and switch in new members until the cap is raised.
I will do everything in my power to not fight random wild battles (unless I'm trying to capture something) but I will fight trainers with those constantly rotating members until I reach the Gym.
If I've reached the hard cap and have decided to use just 6 Pokemon for the rest of the game with no exceptions- I will avoid trainers unless your hack actually makes them worth fighting.
If your random trainers will have boring dialog and shitty teams that couldn't possibly beat any player with 5 or 6 mons, why force us to fight ALL of them?
