Because I didn't use him the entire fight up until Scyther, who was his last Pokémon. Rock throw wasn't quite enough to kill, but he used Swords Dance first turn, so I figured I'd be able to eat the hit with Sturdy and kill him on the next turn. Instead he uses U-turn and OHKOs me. Thankfully Marcus outsped him otherwise I would have wiped right there. So what gives?
