SV in general is a very rushed game, gym rematches are unironically story content that only happens once, this is the first gen to have many QOLs to pimp your mons and adds interesting mechanics like sizes from PLA but at the end there's no PVE content and you only play online
Not only this game is rushed from a gameplay sense but also storyline speaking, The climax of the base game ends in a fucking cliffhanger and many characters in the base game have dlc bait features that is obviously gamefreak is saving them to add later.
the new anime is aimed to little girls and homos OP, it's not a shame if you can't endure watching that shit
