To begin with, I think it was easily the best return episode so far in PM.
Serena's new design is God-Tier. She really grew up and matured and her of all people being the one mentoring Koharu since she suffered from similar issues in her past was a very good move. It really shows how much she's grown since now she can led and inspire the "new generation".
The gags with Wallace were funny. Him cockblocking the meeting was horribly frustrating, but it ultimately made them meeting at the end of everything all the more sweet.
That said, Ash fighting and beating an (ex)Champion off-screen is kind of fucked up though. It's such a big victory on paper but it lacks any weight. Not even Ash gave a fuck. Granted, that's part of the gag with Ash not really remembering who Wallace is but still.
The Nu-Performances were trash.
The meeting was amazing. Like I said, it being cockblocked through the entire episode just made it all the more sweeter. It was brief but sweet. The parallels, their talk, the music, the sun setting, Serena waiting on the dock for so long that the sun actually set. It made the scene wonderful.
