This is Kilik, from Verdanturf Town. His father is an archaeologist who brought an Eevee with him after a dig in Kanto. That began his journey - a long one. When Kilik reached Kanto, his first capture was a Koffing that he used to stealth around the abandoned Rocket Base to clear out any lingering remnants of the team. Whatever was left was weak, which inflated his ego and he tackled Erika head on and lost. His Eevee chose to evolve into Flareon just to help him win. After winning, and a sequence of events, Kilik met his main rival, Mike.
Mike was a big fan of Fire types and also was from Hoenn, hailing from Lavaridge. The two boys received mysterious eggs which then later hatched into Elekid and Magby, or "Cable" and "Napalm" as they came known to be. From that day forward, Cable became Kilik's ace in the hole as his first Pokemon, Flareon, was much happier competing in contests with Kilik's little sister
The story stopped around the introduction of Generation V, but I had always imagined Kilik falling for Elesa due to their aces being Electric and their similar color scheme. I had also dreamed Kilik would become either a Gym Leader or a Frontier Brain, whose Electivire, Aggron and Hawlucha were known across the world.
