Yes, it's tedious and impractical as fuck. Do you think GF gives a shit? Of course not. It's possible to move Pokemon from Gen III to Gen VI and that's all that matters.
Also: Hoenn remakes would have to have glorious 3D graphics in order to be successful. X and Y set the bar too high, there's no reason to go through all the work just for remakes when GF could just make new games. Masuda has already been talking about Gen VII and how they're going "back to basics". Gen III remakes will never happen. Never. Stop living in denial faggots.
