You can see alot now a days shows, games, and cartoons tend to lean towards Homosexual characters because reasons. It varies from creator to creator. Some want brownie points with men hating feminists while others because they just want a gay character and it fits the narrative. But it's so wide spread now its bascially the majority now of current character relationships.
So basically Straight people feel left out due to lack of representation.
