I'm doing Ruby at the moment and it's gone awful at the start, passable in the middle, and more recently awful again... I've lost so many pokemon.
I have to talk about how I beat Winona, as you can see I don't really have any one pokemon capable of dealing with her Altaria.
Well I lead with Manectric and took down Swellow, and she sends in Altaria to start setting up, so I switch to Swellow who I taught Glare via TM (Swellow has a nasty glare) and Paralyze Altaria, then as she sets up I switch to Grumpig and Confuse Ray her and as she sets up a second Dragon Dance I Psych Up and Secret Power down. I was so exited I didn't lose anyone to her shenanigans.
