Pokémon Sleep didn't got cancelled nor its development been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, but instead the project evolved into something bigger, beyond the original scope of a simple ludofied sleep-helping app but something much complex.
Pokémon Sleep actually has been shadowdropped, not in any form of platform or device but into our subconcious we are actually *living* in Pokémon Sleep right now because things have gone quiet since the 25th anniversary presentation, highly-requested remakes met with apathy at reveal and little effort to hype them up despite of coming in the remaining 7 months + everybody's open-world Pokémon wet dream looking like an pre-alpha build and no warranty of looking better at launch lmao
