Have you ever seen what New York City looks like? Unova is clearly based on it. The center landmass is Manhattan, complete with a Central Park (Entralink). The eastern land is Brooklyn (complete with a hipster Williamsburg and a Brooklyn Bridge) and Queens. The western part of the map are areas from New Jersey.

Do you even have any clue how the entirety of New York State looks?
