For Tate and Liza I had some fun. Norman and Tate led, then I had Tate use Skill Swap on Norman who had Shadow Ball before swapping to new member Juan to just spam Surf. Cue Xatu, Solrock, and Lunatone getting taken out very fast and Claydol going down not long after. Too bad it's the only time I get to do that, but hey.
For Juan, I led with Winona, who set up Safeguard against the Luvdisc who could only then fire off weak Water Pulses that couldn't confuse me, then set up 6 Dragon Dances before sweeping with Aerial Ace.
Wally wasn't an issue either. Now time for the league.

I don't think there's any shame in looking up boss movesets, Emerald is a rough game. IMO the game with the most consistently hard bosses after USUM/BW2 Challenge, even moreso than Platinum.
