I remember seeing the episode with the charmander in the rain early in the morning. As an abused kid i was drawn into the kindness of the series. Oddly enough my first card was a charmander i found trampled in the rain on the playground. It was torn but i treasured that card forever. I played the blue at a friend's house and once i got my own i was hooked forever
