We're only in the first month of episodes, and someone above said something about the Buneary episode happening during early March. if that's the case have Dawn stick around until the gang reach Wulfric/Hidden Village or TF begins again.That way we don't get a bunch of filler as they travel to Snowbelle. If Ash loses to Alan, he'll want to get stronger for their next meeting which will be probably take place after Snowbelle City or during the Hidden Village arc after Ash has gotten stronger and worked on mastering GreninjAsh. Serena appears to be getting an arc leading up to the Buneary episode. As Yashio said, as Serena currently is she won't be able to defeat Elle. Which might be what the Delphox episode is about, making her see that Elle is currently out of her league.
Have Dawn show up and teach Serena a bit about being a Coordinator to expand her skill set.
3-5 episodes of Dawn in a row for the needed cameo of the series with actual use instead of being a supporting character like in BW.
I think it all fits and makes sense. Sure it's wishful thinking and honestly probably won't happen. But if it does, it all comes together and makes sense for her appearance.
