Example: I used a Dragonite in FR, worked my ass to get a Tyranitar and use it against Red and the gym leader rematches on SS, Obtained and raised both Beldum and Bagon to use on the Hoenn Battle Frontier, caught a Gible and used him from beginning to end in Platinum, got a Zweilous on victory road and used him against the Elite 4 on White 2, caught a goomy and boxed the shit out of him and finally caught the Totem Kommo-o for Ultra Moon
