>>38928761>>38929126It's been a decade and a half since Hoenn happened and the lockout took a serious toll on the franchise. But even then, you could eventually recatch all those Pokemon after you bought some new games.
Can't do that in SS, some Pokemon just no longer exist for no good reason. Players got absolutely nothing in return. Aside from a new universally applied shader, Pokemon and their animations look just as they did in X/Y 6 years ago and Pokedex 3D 8 years ago. There was no improvement in quality, there was no improvement in balance, you just lost something for no good reason. And you like it this way.
