>>35698855I remember how the Pokemon Adventures manga was the size of a magazine rather than the standard manga size. My local hobby shop would get Japanese booster packs at random intervals. It felt like a such victory getting a few and then showing them off at school the next day. I also had some of the Tomy figures which had holes on the bottom and I used the figures as pencil toppers which caused the rest of my 4th grade class to do the same. Everyone had the Pikachu but I felt awesome for having a Nidoking figure. Good times...
