Disappointed? Not any more than usual. The games themselves always have to be taken with a grain of salt, as GameFreak is content with being inept and lazy. They will never innovate and expand past their comfort zone and that's a shame. A Pokemon game with a story and world in the vein of something like Mother 3 would be much better (moving story with darker themes but still light enough for children to enjoy), but this mediocrity is expected, as these are games for children after all and Nintendo is reluctant and hard headed. At this point I buy the games for the Pokemon themselves, the breeding, capturing, battling and training of the Pokemon themselves has never been better. Playing these games for anything other than, that like story or cool features is a waste of everyone's time.
