This was better than I thought it'd be.
>The good
-The presentation was good. The usual free use tilesets, battle backgrounds, etc. are still good (if common).
-Music was pretty alright. No Glitchxshitty is always great.
-The main 4 characters are probably the driving force behind the game desu, everything else (story sometimes, gameplay, etc.) feels secondary at points imo. The MC was fun, and his interactions with Valerie and the rivalfaggot were mostly entertaining, Gen feels like he barely got anything outside of the ntrshit though. Like Wagie, I can see him being the leader of the crimsoniggers (it's not seethe/copium i swear)
-The sidequests/content was mostly pretty good. And the quest log having unique dialogue is always great.
>Neutral
-Difficulty was pretty easy for the most part. The game's at it's hardest earlygame if you choose the charmanderino and don't get a team online basically immediately. The gym leader gimmicks were neat for the most part, The rock leader setting rocks and then abusing phasing moves is cool, the normalfag abusing guts is neat, gym 3 and 4 were a little dumb though.
-The gameplay itself is serviceable. Not great, but not really terrible either. The game was advertised as a dialogue heavy game anyway, so I'm not surprised.
