I'm shilling here but if people want to try an alternative to essentials (still using RMXP) some french guys realeased an alpha version of their starter kit with a demo inside that shows what it can do.

The SDK include a database editor.
There is an option in said editor that allow you to translate de game in multiple languages, it looks pretty neat at the moment.
