The lake of rage was actually fine and I loved the rocket headquarters because Canna could practice. He actually got to level 35 playing like this. Until I fought the double battle with Lance.
The battle by itself was fine..until I got to their last mon, a gloom. I was not that worried because Cannaa was oneshooting everything. But he missed and got killed by a megadrain.
Now I thought that it was fine to take the gym because I thought that I was a bit overleveled and it was the ice gym.
I forgot that it was the water gym with the numbers filled out (I played the game decades ago). Faker was actually barely useful in the gym and even guma was unable to outspeed everything and almost got killed before the leader.
Oner was actually a badass and his hyper fang soloed almost everything. So I decided to put him in front and hope for the best before the final battle.
This image was the start of the battle. I healed the pokemons the best that I could with what remained of my potions (no buying items).
Battle start: Oner uses hyper fang and almost killed the seel outright. He took a small hit and then finished with a quick attack.
Against the mamoswine he again took more than half of his health with a crit but died in one hit to Ice Fang.
Faker enters the gym and hits like a wet noodle and dies to a single mud bomb.
Marin enters the fray and manages to let the mamoswine in the red twice before dying to blizzards.
Teddy enters and finally kills the mamoswine atter taking a nud bomb to the face but dies to his dewgong.
Finally Guma enters the fray and is killed before he could do anything.
So this is the end of my semi-blind run.
I will take 1 or 2 days to grieve the death of this team and try to start again.
