Same, hell even irl archeology in general is fascinating and full of mysteries. It leaves a lot of room for the imagination which can be fun as long as you keep in mind its speculating off unknown but real events. An entire fictional setting has boundless spaces to consider that sort of thing.

Spite is certainly one thing kek. Though more seriously though I try not to think about it too much. I'm glad I love creative endeavors so much even if I lack the confidence to really publish anything myself (I've made a fair few stories and settings and whatnot myself, as well as a bit of drawfagging though I almost never publish anything. maybe that personality quiz from PMDRT was onto something if I'm usually too shy to share my inner thoughts like that even anonymously kek. At least 95% of my work can be done entirely WFH so it can be done fairly easily and quickly. I really hope I don't actually lose my eyesight though, my grandfather did and he ended up just sort of "giving up" on life and withered away. Really not looking forward to things if I end up like that kek. But yeah, shitposting, enjoying pokemon and other hobbies, talking with anons in a thread where we are all anonymous and ephemeral and what we say will be forgotten like wisps in the wind. Creative thinking in general is nice. So is lucid dreaming when I can manage it. Fascinating how the mind is distanced from all your aches and pains while dreaming. Usually.

Yeah. I also like the idea of using alternative means of getting past an obstacle than just "beat up <mon> and move on", in this case getting a pokemon so enraged and buffing it (accidently) that it destroys the terrain its on.

Sorry about that...I'm just trying to have fun with those that approach PMD in a similar way, and at least personally I have worries about interacting with people outside of an anonymous environment. I'm not sure where else to go with this stuff in particular though, I don't think the fanfiction thread on /vp/ would be alright with how we've been approaching this, and I'm not sure if having a thread on its own would last that long on the board...or escape the notice of the jannies.
