I'm not a VGCfag so I can't comment on mechanics, but main story-wise I appreciate that Dynamax was only reserved to important moments like a 4-on-1 multiplayer PvE or a Gym battle, as opposed to Megas and Z-Moves which you had no reason not to spam on every trainer battle and you had to sit down and watch 10-20 second of a transformation or your trainer dancing like a retard every single time.
I was never too fond of the Gigantamax designs, but they were more digestible than Megas for sure.
