You know guys theres somwthing i've been thinking about lately. Having Ash as the MC in each new region is actually a pretty retarded way of Marketing. I mean the Anime exists to shill the current Games. I know thats why every new Gen has a new girl companion to shill more but wouldn't it be better if instead of making Ash travel 1000 new Regions, the main character of the Games have their own Shows? Just imagining a Pokemon Anime where the main character is the mc from the Games plus following the story of the Games in some degree its pretty hype. And that would actually be a better Marketing technique to make the kids buy the Games. But for some retarded reason the writers won't do that.
