Pardon I'm like 3 games behind the curb. I know they've slowly been making new bigger sprites with each game, but because of dexit we didn't see them all by the start of Gen 8. I need the icons for something. What's the status on the old Gens 1-7 sprites, do we have all the big ones yet or are some still missing?

I would be fine with it if they updated all the sprites, but it just seemed like they gave up half way and left the ones they did in the game. Why the fuck does Rhydon and Golbat get new sprites but not Magneton? Why does Venomoth get a new sprite but not fucking Butterfee or Beedrill? Why the FUCK didn't the Eeveelutions get new sprites? I don't know if it's just my autism but I've never seen anyone else talk about this. It's bothered me since LPLE.

Reminder that LGPE didn't even finish all the icon sprites in time, making Ninetales look fucking stupidly small compared to the rest and not giving equal treatment to pokemon. This is just the beginning of their laziness.

From Pika-Vee. Based on the footage some non-Kanto mons have big sprites too now (eg Ludicolo) but taking them from footage is a pain so I won't add them until the game releases

They actually updated some of those in Let's Go to be higher res and more detailed. They looked surprisingly good for once. It was weirdly arbitrary though, like it was mostly final stage mons but not all of them, and sometimes only one of a set got upgraded but not others.

I hope they make more of them for the Gen 1 Pokemon. The sizes are inconsistent, see ones like Ninetales, Machoke or Primeape who are still small.

They're so fucking lazy they couldn't even make new menu sprites for all of the Gen 1 pokemon.
