Every time I saw him, it wasn't "dammit, another rival battle", but instead, "You go, little buddy." I actually wanted to lose to him. He deserved to be Champion more than me. He's the kind of person who's kind to others because he remembers what it was like to be weak. Meanwhile, all I did was be in the right place at the right time.
I really hope we see him all grown up as a Champion or at least a super-strong traveling trainer in another game.
