Gen 8 is coming, and as much as /vp/ would insist, I doubt it's all bad. So let's calm down and look at the bright side.

Alright, not bad. Let's look at the cons.
CONS
>Graphics are worse than Battle Revolution. Hell, they're worse than Twilight Princess.

Yeah, that's about it for my rant. Buy the game if you wish. This is just a basic compilation of my opinions. Feel free to disagree. (P.S. If GF removes Sableeye I will reenact the Texas Chainsaw Massacre)

Game Freak fucked that up with Gen IV.
They overdid regular evos for older Pokemon and got a lot of critic.
So they decided to make no cross Gen evolutions in Gen V and made eviolite a thing.
They got a lot of critic for that too.
And instead giving us just 2-4 cross gen evoltions each gen, they added megas to fuck things up even more.
