>>49005974I can feel the earth rumble from under me as I start to walk over to the vent, which is starting to really knock me off balance! I quickly run to the other side of the of the volcano, and as the ground starts to shake more intensely I start losing my footing. I stumble forward several times and manage to get one foot on solid ground again, but just as another tremor occurs I lose my balance entirely! I fall backward into a small crevice between two rock faces, landing on my ass with a crash while the earth rumbles around me. I'm trapped here, unable to move an inch as the volcano continues to shake.
As I scramble around to find a light source in this pitch black cavern, I can see two red glowing eyes in the darkness, watching me. Oh no, I've fallen into the den of a sleeping pokemon, haven't I? The glow of the pokemon's eyes grows brighter, and the rest of its body lights up in flames, illuminating the cavern. It's a Centiskorch, and it looks awfully upset that I intruded on its sleep. The flames from the body of the centipede-like pokemon light up the cavern even further, letting me see it's entire body! It's long, crimson, and has hundreds of awful legs that curl around a stalagmite in the cave.
On closer inspection, based on the size of it's antennae, this Centiskorch seems to be female, though I can't tell for sure because her face is obscured by her fiery mandibles. As she unwraps from the pillar, a waft of brimstone that seems to be coming from her red carapace fills the air and brings tears to my eyes as I struggle to hold my breath. Sensing my fear, she lurches towards me, hundreds of legs moving in unison as she skitters closer. As I sit in the corner of the cave, unable to fight back, she starts to wrap around me with her myriapod body and I can feel the heat from her carapace radiate through me.
