Most pokemon don't run. We know that.
A handful can. The odds of seeing one of those shinies specifically as opposed to a shiny from any of the 230 or so that can't is extremely slim on top of the slim odds of seeing a wild shiny.
I can't find any evidence that shinies can never run even if the non-shiny can't. Like, say, a wild Shiny Cubone in silver.
Where's the proof that they act differently? I'm sure some sort of turbonerd like bulbapedo or Serebii would have documented it somewhere.
