It's finally time for Red! Kinda nervous because my team doesn't take blizzard well and I don't think I can take out hail without a sacrifice.
I start with Rocksteady the Golem to take on Pikachu. I took it out in one shot with earthquake, but iron tail still hit like a motherfucker even without STAB, putting Golem in red HP. Not a great start, since it limits my options against Charizard.
Next up is Lapras and I switch to DDoS the Porygon-Z. I take the brine on switch-in pretty well. Thunderbolt does around 70%, and I just barely survive a blizzard and hail. I use my one full restore (I only use one of whatever healing the AI has) so I can do another thunderbolt and survive blizzard & hail, but not by a lot.
Red sent out Blastoise, and I was contemplating risking DDoS to focus blast to get off another thunderbolt. Instead I went for plan B; I sent out Mildew the Parasect who ate a focus blast with no problem. Blastoise used blizzard, but the yache berry lowered it's effect, allowing me to live on about 20-10% and put it to sleep with spore!
I get a free switch into Burgundy the Gyarados, and I start clicking Dragon Dance. I get off two before it wakes up, but Leftovers allows me to do two more while tanking blizzards and hail. Now it's time to begin the sweep.
Bite takes out Blastoise (already half dead from hail), Ice Fang takes out Venusaur, Waterfall takes out Snorlax and finally Charizard.
Red is no more and it's finally over. All hail Parasect for setting up the sweep and preventing any deaths! What a hero.
>>54364241Solid team and some good box options too.
>>54362611>>54362614RIP to a real one in Graveller. This run has given me new appreciation for the line and it's sad to see one go. Clutch freeze though.
>>54361103Good luck with the entire run! I respect everyone with enough autism to do one honestly, I don't think I could.
>>54360810Damn that's brutal. Are you losing most on grinding or what?
>>54360182Sounds like a fun run, good luck man.
