Well the pokemon should be easy, but the actual gym should give off a "mind control" vibe. Gym leader is a man with a mask that has malamar patterns on it, wearing a trenchcoat like Beheeyem, and holding hypno's pendulum. His ace would either be a mega Hypno or Malamar, but he'd have both pokemon on his team, alongside a Beheeyem, a Chandelure, a Palossand, and (for the hell of it), an Alolan Exeggutor. Any that could learn it would have hypnosis or confuse ray.
Trainers in his gym are various female trainers (hex maniac, aroma lady, lass, office worker, beauty, battle girl etc.) Their eyes would be empty, like how it usually is in anime when someone is under mind control, they'd wear sexier slave uniforms, and their dialogue would sorta be like the chanellers, where when they first challenge you they'd say stuff like "I will crush you, my master commands it" and "Master is just perfect isn't he?" but when you beat them they'd say stuff like "Huh? What was I doing just now?" and "Where am i? What am I doing in this outfit?"
Along your way, you'll fight girls wearing outfits of other classes (like a hex maniac in the outfit of preschooler, a battle girl in the outfit of a beauty, etc.) acting like the class whose outfit they're wearing, and eventually you'll fight people in costumes of pokemon (miltank, arcanine, persian, ) who act like that pokemon and fight you like one. Soon enough, you'll find the woman who's actually supposed to be the gym leader, reduced to a mindless zombie, and you'll fight her before you fight the main gym leader.
If you're beat by any trainer, you'll wake up not at the center but in the gym in a slave outfit.
