>>16210698Now tell me how shitty the IVs are.
:^)
>>16210719>1) I assume Super Training covers the whole IV thing for me? You could not be more wrong. It covers the EV thing (badly) for you.
>I remember something about Super Training just taking IVs and turning it into a little minigame. I assume I gotta do this with a level 1 pokemon, right? Not IVs, EVs.
>2) Is there any sort of recurring habit with Wifi players? Like am I gonna expect people who only use legendaries or people who metagame super hard or what?On public WiFi matches expect a lot of legendaries, generic in-game garbage, or Mega Evolutions with a sprinkle of OU Pokémon. Or a combination of the previous 4 things in a single team. There are some people who the whole random WiFi competitively but it's 3 v 3 and not really worth anyones time.
People around here like to do 6 v 6 or 4 v 4 (Doubles) and I'd like to think that most people here can into competitive. If you want to look at tiers/strategy/analysis then take a gander over at Smogon.
>3) Based on 2, how fucked would I be if I just wanted to use a team of pokemon I enjoy using, not just a team that'll win? I could give a list if you want, but there's too many pokemon I would enjoy usingIf your favorite Pokémon are things like Shuckle, Delibird, Charizard, etc then you'll have a tough time sweeping/walling with those Pokémon. There are lower tier Pokémon that are good, or even better (Slowbro), in higher tier play but those are few and far between.
>4) When it comes to shit like IV/EV training, I assume you blow it all on the two most important stats for that pokemon? Like an Alakazam would probably want nothing but Special Attack and Speed?Yes but try to shoot for 5 perfect IVs. Those 30-1 extra points can make a difference.
>5)Your goal is to have a win condition, preferably two. You can do that using a number of things ranging from support to all out wallbreaking and sweeping. Take your pick really.
