P/hazing is a must on any competent team. Ideally you'd never let them set up in the first place, but it's never a 100% thing to work around. Crobat and Eviolite Golbat have the speed and bulk respectively to use Haze extraordinarily well, Crobat particularly when equipped with a Focus Sash and paired with Defog or Taunt.
In addition, Roar and Whirlwind are never a waste of time especially now that they check accuracy. You can parashuffle 'mons and cripple their entire team without switching yourself, waste multiple of your opponents' turns of setup by washing it all away, or just shuffle their team around to rack up free hazard damage.
And that's just off the top of my head. My point is that your argument holds no salt at all.
