>>31411277I heard gen 3 had nearly an entire time of different people and onward making the games after gen 3. Pokemon was actually meant to end after the first movie and after the 2nd gen game but they underestimated it's popularity so they decided to keep going after gen 2.
It's kinda sad really, the series could have been a lot better and contained itself if it had an early death.
