>>42587879Sword and Shield was the breaking point for me because it was the first Pokémon game I didn’t enjoy whatsoever, but the DLC announcement and Pokémon Home cemented it. Beforehand the last game I bought from them was Moon which I actually rather liked, but USUM and LGPE didn’t pique my interest whatsoever.
The funny thing is that when I emulated about half of LGPE as a joke, I ended up enjoying it a fair bit more than SWSH.
Sword and Shield are a rushed, unfinished mess and yet they still have the fucking nerve to charge you an extra $30 dollars to experience content that should’ve been in the game from day one, and now they’re charging another $16 dollars if you want to transfer over your Pokémon from prior entries. It’s scummy as fuck and I refuse to support this nickel-and-dime bullshit.
