Here we see Snowpoint Temple. Like Zygarde in X/Y, this is yet another example of untapped lore in the games that is being answered here. Red's Pikachu is present, so it seems he is being used for this story, but you may now have noticed that he has honestly been used sparingly. He's in the Regigigas and Zygarde episodes, but that's it.
As you have probably noticed now, NOTHING in this trailer is actually events from the game that you directly experience. So Ethan, Dawn, ect, are probably not going to be in this. Instead, the show is going to use Red (and an ensemble of side characters) to tell new stories, that fill in the gaps and expand lore that was unfinished in the games. Based on the trailer, the confirmed episodes we have are as follows;
