This team's gotten me up to 1850 on the OU ladder, and is the first competitive team I've made since Gen 4, so I'm enjoying it.
Magnezone is a little weird, but I wanted it to be practice for an in-game team, and I don't want to deal with breeding for Hidden Power Fire.
The Togekiss, Slowbro, Magnezone core is really nice, with Slowbro tanking and eliminating talonflame and other physical threats, and Magnezone eliminating problem steels, notably klefki and skarmory, that otherwise stop M-Pinsir cold. Togekiss softens up special attackers and makes an amazing pair with Slowbro. Slowbro has Fire Blast, as it often draws in Scizor and Ferrothorn, which are cleanly OHKO'd and taking roughly 90%, respectively.
Specially Defensive Sableye is the usual lead and does a great job of crippling large portions of many teams. Between the max SpDef investment and will-o-wisp, few things can take it down one-on-one. Even powerful special attackers like life orb greninja struggle to do more than 55% without relying on low-accuracy moves, allowing Sableye to stall out life-orb/burn damage via recover. Set-up Sweepers are easily taken down with taunt and either will-o-wisp or a switch to togekiss, crippling them with burn/paralysis and walling them out while they can't set up. Sableye also makes a decent Kangaskhan counter (paired with rocky helmet ferrothorn) and a solid stallbreaker, thanks to a combination of will-o-wisp, taunt, and knock off. Knock off also is a OHKO on 0/0 Alakazam, Gengar, and sometimes Espeon, which often switch in on it. Also, the general advantage gained via knock-off (along with the standard taunt/wow/recover) makes this moveset of Sableye one of the best supporting pokemon possible.
Ferrothorn is rather bland, but it's effective at what it does.
Pinsir usually comes in last to sweep, or mid-game to destroy my opponent's core, and rarely switches out, so I found a spinner is generally unnecessary.
